Role placement: This position is part of the EMEAI Sales organization and will be located remotely within Europe (UK). The team is focused on servicing customers and driving service sales order targets under the guidance of the Service Sales Director EMEAI.
Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a strategic and tactical growth plan to achieve the business goals and activities that deliver the desired Sales Target and profitable growth.
* Deliver consistently accurate quarterly, monthly and weekly forecasting for the complete product portfolio within the assigned sales district.
* Establish and nurture a strong, unified Sales team environment; ensure team members deliver on service sales objectives within their region and develop customer relationships across the geography.
* Monitor key competitive and market dynamics for growth opportunities and threats, and develop appropriate countermeasures.
* Partner with leaders of other functions (Sales Administration, Finance, IT, HR and Legal) to deliver results, while leading through the DHR Core Behaviors and ensuring 100% compliance in all aspects of business conduct.
* Mentor, coach and develop team members; monitor progress toward performance objectives and provide regular feedback; develop associate talent for career development and succession planning.
Essential Requirements
* Travel required/Valid Passport/Valid Driver's License: travel by vehicle or airplane within assigned geography, up to 30-50% overnight travel may be required.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels; ability to communicate our value proposition to customers in a matrix environment.
* Ability to interpret and explain the competitive landscape to compete in the market and achieve sales targets.
* Understanding of Life Science products and instrumentation; SCIEX instrumentation and software experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences or equivalent experience
* Additional college-level courses in sales or marketing are desirable
* Proven background in sales leadership
