Self-Employed Personal Assistant required in the Preston area
Seeking self-employed worker to provide support to a neuro-divergent female with chronic physical health conditions. Looking for an individual who is understanding and has a non-judgmental attitude. Must be happy to take instruction and use their own initiative when required. Experience or knowledge of hidden disabilities such as Chronic Fatigue, Pots, Lipedema, Autism, ADHD, PTSD is desirable but not essential.
Would suit someone with an outgoing personality with a passion for supporting others and the ability to support the client to connect with others.
This position will involve:
• Occasional transporting and accompanying the client with hospital and
medical appointments.
• Some aspects of Personal care.
• Assisting with making phone calls/correspondence.
• Occasional help with shopping and lifting/carrying.
• Household domestic tasks.
• Occasional support with general organisation both in the home and
diary/finance management.
Support may not be required on a daily basis. Hours will vary from day to day, month to month due to the variability of the client’s health condition.
You must have excellent communication and engagement skills, be organised, extremely honest and reliable. A driver with a full clean license is essential to this position. Must like cats.
Must have a recent, clear enhanced DBS. Must provide evidence of current liability insurance, UTR number and be able to provide regular invoices.
