Reporting into the Senior Manager for Payroll and HR Services, the successful Payroll Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that all Tarmac employees are paid on time and correctly in line with financial controls, rules of business and legislation. You will maintain positive working relationships with peers and supports wider payroll team in order to ensure consistency of service and processes across employee Services., In this role, you as the successful Payroll Administrator will be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive)
Responsibilities
* Ensure that employees are paid on time and accurately in line with financial control, rules of business, HR service requirements and HMRC legislation
* Being responsible for the production of allocated payrolls and all associated tasks
* Ensuring accurate and timely submission of payrolls
* Supporting members of the Payroll Team and wider Reward team
* Working on general administration duties such as employee benefits pension, SAYE and general support for the wider Reward Team.
* An ability to work under pressure
* The ability to identify process improvements
* Strong attention to detail
