* Provide advice on IP‑related issues such as infringement, brand usage, and licensing.

Regulatory & Compliance

* Assist employment contract drafting and amendments.
* Advise on consumer protection laws and regulations affecting our games.
* Help maintain player‑facing documentation e.g. EULAs, UGC terms and website content.
* Assist Customer Support with escalated player disputes and complaints, ensuring resolution in line with legal requirements and community rules.
* Support governance processes and policy drafting.

Data Privacy & AI Guidance and Code

* Provide proactive guidance on emerging AI regulations.
* Draft/review data processing agreements and ensure compliance with data protection laws.
* Assist with data breach responses when required.

Team & Business Support

* Mentor and coach junior members of the legal team and assist in delivering training and development initiatives.
* Draft and update guidance and policies.

What You’ll Bring

* England & Wales qualified solicitor, ideally 5–8 years PQE.
* Strong experience with commercial contracts, IP management, and technology‑related legal issues.
* Ability to make timely, informed decisions that balance risk and opportunity.
* Familiarity with employment law, intellectual property law, consumer protection law, and data privacy law.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships and become a trusted business partner.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and meet deadlines.
* Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Bonus If You Have

* Experience in music licensing, talent agreements, marketing agreements and/or CAP code.
* Experience supporting a listed company.
* Awareness of legislation and regulation affecting the video games industry.
