CNC Operators
Location: Carnwath, South Lanarkshire
Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am-2.00pm Friday
Contract Type: Permanent

We currently have a vacancy for CNC Operators who are familiar with Structural Steel Sections, reporting to the CNC/Production Manager. The role is to ensure all parts are processed accurately and on time, in a cost- effective manner. Ensuring materials are available to the Fabrication Department when required.
Key duties include
Operating equipment required for the role in a safe manner, including the use of overhead cranes.
Ensure all tooling is correct and fit for purpose before carrying out the task ahead.
Complete relevant documentation and record work activity using TnT scanning systems or Strumis systems. (This are in house tracking and recording system)
Continuous housekeeping always ensuring a clean and safe working environment following BHC written work instructions.
Adhere to BHC Health and Safety procedures at all times.
Communicate with manager and maintenance department to report any issues with machine.
Perform regular accuracy checks and record results to ensure a quality product.
Ensure products are correctly marked before passing to next operation.
The successful candidate will be a good communicator, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You should be conscientious, hardworking, flexible and health and safety aware.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving appropriate quality standards in a safe manner, whilst meeting production targets.
