Ready for a change of pace? The Dawyck Botanic Cafe is looking for a passionate Cook or Chef to join our dedicated team in the heart of the Scottish Borders. This is a hands-on role where you can truly take pride in the food you serve.
The Role in Detail:
Working in our busy visitor cafe, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, fresh food that keeps our guests coming back. Your day-to-day will include:
Service & Preparation: Assisting the Professional Chef in preparing and serving a range of hot and cold dishes, from signature soups and vibrant salads to hearty Dishes.
Kitchen Operations: Ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly during peak lunch periods, managing stock rotation, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene.
Teamwork: Collaborating closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless experience for our visitors.
Quality Control: Ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen meets our standards for taste and presentation.
