Axfar Recruitment are looking for Class 1 drivers for ongoing work for Various Clients around the Lanarkshire and Greater Glasgow Area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across various locations. This role requires expertise in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Duties Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items for safe transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting a culture of safety on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
