We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor within the Voids team covering our housing portfolio. This position requires a hard-working individual with good people management skills, excellent communications and a track record of providing an excellent customer experience.
Your main role will include direct line management of a team of in-house trades delivering a range of services across the Repairs and Maintenance Team.
You will provide leadership to the team through effective coaching, mentoring, one to ones and team briefings, ensuring the team members are inducted and adequately trained to fulfil their responsibilities, and are working to policy and procedure. You will also support in the management of contractors and quality audits in these work streams ensuring they are meeting Connexus Standards.
You will need to demonstrate a good knowledge of current health and safety legislation, construction regulation and best practices along with strong building knowledge to ensure repairs and maintenance are carried out to the highest standard and in compliance with relevant regulations.
This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working which will be a combination of home working and working from our offices, with Head office at Craven Arms and travel to other offices as required.
This role will be subject to a basic DBS check.
