Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing is seeking experienced Solicitors (Energy Lawyers) - Commercial & Construction to join our customer’s in-house legal team within the energy and utilities sector for an interim cover.
This role will support infrastructure-led renewable energy projects across commercial and public sector clients, providing hands-on legal support during a period of increased project activity.
Prior energy sector experience is essential.
Skills & Experience Required
* UK qualified solicitor
* Proven energy sector experience (renewables, utilities, infrastructure)
* Experience advising on renewable infrastructure projects
* Strong commercial contracting background
* In-house or secondment experience preferred
* Experience working in a regulated environment
* Available to start at short notice
Working knowledge of:
* Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
* Energy supply agreements
* Private wire arrangements / ESCO structures
* Data and metering contracts
* Construction contract experience (EPC, O&M, framework agreements)
Key Responsibilities
You will advise on the development, procurement, construction, and operation of renewable energy infrastructure projects.
OR You will support on a range of complex commercial and infrastructure agreements, including:
* Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
* Energy supply agreements
* Private wire arrangements
* ESCO structures
* Data and metering contracts
* Construction contracts (EPC / O&M)
