As a Property Business Partner, you will support the Assets Manager in delivering the Council's Asset Management Strategy, working as a key member of the property management and development team to drive high-quality, data-informed asset planning. You will collaborate with service areas and fellow property business partners to develop, manage and implement asset management processes that identify opportunities for rationalisation, development, efficiencies, innovation and commercial growth across the Council's land and property portfolio. The role involves undertaking service asset management plans, providing professional advice and challenge on future property requirements, and working closely with senior management teams to embed the Asset Management Framework. You will also advise managers on strategic asset management policies, support the Council's commercial approach, and build strong working relationships with colleagues and partner organisations to ensure effective delivery of asset-related priorities, working with senior managers and service areas, able to provide constructive challenge and clear professional advice on future property requirements. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as the role involves regular collaboration with colleagues, corporate business partners and external property professionals. You will bring a proactive, solution-focused approach, supporting the Council's commercial ambitions and contributing to high-quality asset management processes that drive efficiencies, innovation and improved use of the Council's estate.
