An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Advisor to join a well-established commercial vehicle dealership, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair solutions.
As a Service Advisor, you will act as the key liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring smooth service operations and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This full-time role offers basic salary range of £29, - £32,, OTE £35, and benefits.
You will be responsible for
1. Act as primary contact for customers, managing bookings and providing workshop updates.
2. Maximise workshop efficiency by scheduling jobs and upselling additional services.
3. Process repair authorisations, warranty claims and accurate invoicing.
4. Maintain vehicle service records and ensure parts are ordered promptly.
5. Conduct pre- and post-service customer communications to ensure satisfaction.
6. Keep reception area presentable and comply with all health & safety standards.
7. Stay updated on manufacturer requirements and maintain professional standards.
What we are looking for:
8. Previously worked as a Service Advisor or in a similar role.
9. Ideally have experience working with HGV or light commercial vehicles.
10. Basic technical knowledge of commercial vehicles.
11. Strong customer service and communication skills.
12. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Shifts:
13. Monday - Friday:5:30am - 2:30pm, 8:00am - 5:00pm, 10:00am - 7:00pm
14. 1 in 3 Saturday mornings: 7:00am - midday
