Mechanical Project Engineer – Cryogenic Systems | £35,000 – £45,000 + Bonus
Are you a technically‑mindful Project Engineer with a passion for cryogenic systems and scientific engineering? Join a forward‑thinking team where you’ll lead cutting‑edge R&D and product development projects from concept to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage technical and critical success factors across the full project lifecycle
* Plan and deliver engineering projects to time and spec
* Contribute to or oversee the design of cryogenic equipment
* Coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and provide technical leadership
* Support sales with technical documentation and tender input
* Perform hands‑on testing, wiring, and global system installations
* Improve engineering processes and contribute to product innovation
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in Physics or Engineering (or related discipline)
* Experience in product or project engineering within a scientific or R&D setting
* Understanding of cryogenic equipment and system design
* Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
