The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project management, including integration of systems, procurement, scope, schedule, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and stakeholders. The role involves working closely with the project team and stakeholders, maintaining excellent relationships with subcontractors and clients.
* Manage project activities throughout the project lifecycle, including resource allocation, scheduling, documentation, and budgeting
* Achieve project budgets and provide accurate monthly forecasts
* Serve as the primary liaison with clients, designers, site superintendents, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
* Organize project teams and guide efforts to meet deliverables according to specifications
* Manage internal and external contractors or trades
Qualifications:
* Eight or more years of experience in commercial construction
* Five or more years of direct experience in construction project management
* Willingness to travel locally and off-site as required
* Understanding of Lean Construction (education is a plus)
* Strong mentorship and coaching skills
* High self-awareness, entrepreneurial mindset, and personal values
* Understanding of corporate finance and governance
The salary range for this role is C$145,000–$157,000 (£78k–£85k), plus bonuses, share options, benefits, and relocation assistance. To qualify, candidates must have experience delivering projects valued between £10–£30 million from start to finish, demonstrate consistent employment, and meet visa requirements for working in Canada—assistance with visas will be provided.
