A non-denominational Primary School, St Gerardine Primary School noted a school roll of 310 on the most recent census dated September 2024 and welcomes children from both within and outwith their catchment area, where the school is recognised for its nurturing and supportive ethos. Close links with the school nursery (under separate management) exist as well as with other Lossiemouth nurseries. Approximately 35% of the school roll consists of service family children from Armed Forces family backgrounds. St Gerardine Primary School forms part of the Lossiemouth Associated School Group - this includes Hythehill Primary School, Hopeman Primary School, Burghead Primary School and Lossiemouth High School.
Requirements
To provide professional leadership and management of the school ensuring the safety of all pupils and conducting the affairs of the school to the benefit of the pupils and the community it serves through pursuing objectives and implementing policies set by the education authority under the overall direction of the Head of Education (Chief Education Officer).
