We currently have a great opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the Proseal team near Manchester.

The Role
The Field Service Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring excellent on-site service and customer support, reflecting the company's high standards and professional image.
Responsibilities
1. Perform PPM service work on machinery and tooling.
2. Commission machines, conveyors, and bespoke equipment on-site.
3. Support breakdown situations on-site.
4. Participate in on-call and service duties as scheduled.
5. Provide remote support to customers and engineers.
6. Conduct operator and technical training at customer sites or Proseal locations.
7. Respond to on-site support requests independently or as part of a team.
8. Understand and fulfill customer requirements effectively.
9. Complete all required administrative tasks promptly.
10. Assist with machine building or testing in the workshop as needed.
11. Continuously seek improvements in processes and services.
12. Stay updated with new technologies and procedures.
13. Ensure customer satisfaction before leaving the site.
14. Report progress and follow-up work to the Service Manager.
15. Provide feedback on common issues and potential defects.
16. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
17. Undertake any additional duties as required by management.
18. Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
* Recognized apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
* NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or maintenance.
* Valid UK driving license.
* Current passport for international travel.
* Proficient in MS Office applications.
* Understanding of health and safety obligations.
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
* Experience with PLC systems, motion control, servo motors, and frequency inverters.
