We support a wide range of manufacturing sectors including aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, and precision engineering, helping customers improve productivity, reduce costs and optimise machining performance.We are currently seeking a driven and technically capable Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team.As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while supporting and growing existing customer accounts. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will provide technical expertise and practical machining solutions directly on-site.Key responsibilities include:Developing and managing customer relationships within your territoryIdentifying opportunities to introduce cutting tool and machining solutionsProviding technical advice on tooling selection, machining strategies and productivity improvementsConducting on-site trials and performance evaluationsPreparing quotations, proposals and technical reportsWorking closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfactionAchieving agreed sales and margin targetsAbout YouTo succeed in this role, you will have:Proven experience in a technical sales or machining/manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of cutting tools and metal machining processesThe ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsA proactive, self-motivated approach to business developmentA full UK driving licenceTPBN1_UKTJ
