The Role
As a Managing Consultant, you’ll lead from the front—billing in your own right while managing a team of Recruitment Consultants in our Sheffield office. You’ll be responsible for driving team performance, leading by example, and embedding a high-performance, values-led culture.
This is a true player-coach role: you’ll balance your own desk with mentoring, supporting, and growing the consultants around you. With the team already in place, your focus will be on short-term results and long-term development.
We’re looking for someone with a growth mindset and leadership potential. After an initial 6-month period focused on performance and stability, you’ll take the lead in scaling and further developing the team—shaping its structure, hiring plans, and future growth strategy.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead from the front: bill while managing and motivating your team
* Manage end-to-end recruitment across a 360 desk
* Coach and develop consultants to meet personal and team targets
* Support and embed Milk’s values, culture, and best practices
* Take ownership of team planning and strategy beyond the first 6 months
* Play a key part in expanding our brand footprint across South Yorkshire
