Upper KS2 Teaching Assistant (Part Time, Temporary)

£266.76 - 280 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
On behalf of a school in Newcastle, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Upper Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant. This part-time role involves providing general classroom support and delivering targeted interventions to help pupils improve their skills in key areas of learning. The working schedule for this role will be Monday-Wednesday from 8:30-15:30. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team. The school has a supportive senior leadership team, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment for all pupils. The school is ideally looking for a Level 2 qualified teaching assistant at minimum, however candidates holding other qualifications and relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
1. Experience of working within KS2.
2. Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
3. A passion for the progress of pupils.
4. An ability to work as part of a team.
5. Ideally a Level 2 teaching assistant qualification
