What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
* Quality Assurance: Oversee product quality through goods-inwards inspections, in-process checks, and final release testing, while keeping all documentation accurate and up to date.
* Record Maintenance: Maintain essential manufacturing records, including risk assessments and chemical inventories, to support safe and compliant operations.
* Technical Problem-Solving: Lead Material Review Boards, review tooling, and provide expert input during design evaluations to drive technical solutions.
* Business Support: Assist with bids for standard products and manage calibration and asset processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Your Skills and Experiences:
Essential:
* Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering, with hands-on involvement in continuous improvement initiatives and production line troubleshooting.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a fast learner, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Solid understanding of quality assurance processes, including inspections, testing, and compliance with ISO standards.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Proactive and solutions-focused, able to quickly identify issues and implement corrective actions to keep operations running smoothly.
Desirable:
* HNC/HND or degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.

The Manufacturing Engineering Team:
Join our dynamic Manufacturing Engineering team at Towcester and help shape efficient, high-quality production processes. You’ll work across two shifts, supporting the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, maintaining production documentation, and performing in-process and factory acceptance inspections.
In this role, you’ll troubleshoot shop floor challenges, contribute to tooling reviews, provide design input, and drive process improvements. Collaborating closely with senior engineers and production teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience applying engineering principles to real-world manufacturing challenges while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Our team is growing, currently consisting of five members across two shifts, with two engineers per shift. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career while making a real impact on our production operations.
