Key Responsibilities:
Rural Affairs Investments Branch is responsible for overseeing the delivery of current and future investment funds projects under Rural Affairs Division’s responsibility such as the Complementary Fund, City and Growth Deals and PEACEPLUS. The Branch also oversees the delivery of DAERA funding made available to the Digital Transformation Flexible Fund led by DfE. The functions, roles and responsibilities cover the following areas:
1. Providing general administrative support including organising meetings, preparing papers, minute taking &booking venues and hospitality.
2. Mailbox monitoring and management.
3. Collation of & management of branch returns.
4. Maintenance of recording systems, databases and spreadsheets.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties. Duties may change in line with business need. The post holder requires the ability to:
5. Communicate well both orally and in writing to a diverse range of customers both internal and external.
6. Use a range of computer systems to action tasks.
7. Gather, check, assess and interpret information to make decisions/recommendations against clearly defined criteria, regulations, procedures and deadlines.

9. Handle and communicate personal data in accordance with departmental policies.
Minute taking experience would be advantageous.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
