We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Service Technician to join our team at Thames Water. This is a customer-facing role focused on resolving network challenges to ensure minimal disruption to supply.
In this role, you will meet and assist diverse customers daily, work on various projects, and deliver excellent service. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided; just a desire to learn and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
1. Handle customer queries and resolve issues at their homes or workplaces.
2. Collaborate with contractors on planned and unplanned work, investigating water network issues like pressure problems, leaks, and metering queries.
3. Assist in controlling burst mains, including isolating sections for repairs and maintenance.
4. Investigate and resolve issues related to asset performance, such as pressure problems, leaks, and supply loss.
5. Work within a team covering core and standby hours, including on-call shifts.
6. Occasionally work in confined spaces, with full safety training provided.
7. Drive between jobs, holding a full UK driving license.
Location & Working Pattern
Base location: Deephams, Enfield, North London (N9 0BA).
Working hours: 38 hours/week, on an 8-week shift pattern, plus standby rota with additional pay.
Requirements
* Valid, clean UK driving license.
