Job Title: Site Supervisor - Transmission Projects
Location: Didcot (and surrounding schemes), Uxbridge Moor, Margam, and Wallend (Grain).
Contract: 6 months with possibility for extension
Join our client, a leading organization in the utilities sector, as a Site Supervisor for transmission projects across the South Region. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the development of an electricity network supporting renewable and low-carbon energy.
Role Overview:
As the Site Supervisor, you will oversee multiple construction sites, ensuring efficient management of all activities. Your responsibilities include:
* Managing site-based construction activities in line with company policies and procedures.
* Representing the client to ensure contractors deliver safe, high-quality work.
* Supporting the UK's climate goals and net zero targets through effective project management.
Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will have:
* Proven experience in construction, safety, and quality management.
* Experience with project construction phases, especially in areas such as:
- HV systems & equipment
- Heavy Civils
- GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
- OHL (Overhead Lines)
* Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and site management or supervision experience.
* Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation and practices.
* Understanding of commercial and quality management systems, particularly NEC contracts.
* A full UK driving license.
