Personal Assistant

Location: Chichester
This role is to support a 54‑year‑old woman with paraplegia and multiple long‑term health conditions. She is currently temporarily bed‑bound and lives as independently as possible in her own home, although her health can fluctuate and some days may require more proactive adjustments to her care. The PA will provide practical, day‑to‑day support to maintain comfort, dignity, and independence in a safe and respectful way.
Working Conditions
Hours: 21 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 4 hours a day (additional hours may be available).
Remuneration: £13.50 per hour, up to £15 per hour depending on experience and passing probation.
Other requirements: Driver's licence (automatic) required; own vehicle needed. A Motability vehicle is expected in future.

Additional Requirements
Non‑smoker preferred or willing to refrain from smoking during working hours.

The role may be offered on an employed or self‑employed basis, depending on suitability and agreement with the employer. If employed, holiday pay and an employment contract will be provided.
