Residential Support Worker Location: Stirling Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time - 37.5 hours over 7 days on a rota basis Salary: £13.25 per hour £75 sleepover payment Are you passionate about supporting adults with learning disabilities in a vibrant, values-driven community? Key Roles and Responsibilities: * Provide high-quality, person-centred care in supported living environments. * Support and guide volunteers delivering care within the household. * Assist with daily living arrangements, including cultural and spiritual activities. * Support individuals with personal care, upholding dignity and respect at all times. * Help plan and review individualised support plans in collaboration with team leaders. * Contribute to a safe and healthy environment through risk assessments and medication procedures. * Encourage participation in household routines and wider community life. * Maintain confidentiality and accurate records in line with organisational policies. * Assist with the responsible management of household and personal finances. * Work in partnership with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support. Essential Skills and Attributes: * Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities in residential, day care, or educational settings. * Understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and support planning. * Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills. * Ability to take initiative, work independently, and step into leadership when required. * Commitment to inclusive values and the development of a supportive community environment. Desirable: * Social care qualification (e.g., SVQ Level 3) or willingness to work towards it. * Knowledge of adult support and protection legislation. * Experience working in or alongside the voluntary sector. * Full driving licence and willingness to drive service vehicles if required.
