Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team in the food/catering/hospitality industry. The Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for supporting the kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
* Assisting the kitchen staff with food preparation and cooking tasks
* Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
* Assisting with receiving and storing food supplies
* Following all health and safety regulations and guidelines
* Supporting the kitchen team in various tasks as needed
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Cook, Chef, or Kitchen Assistant is preferred
* Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen setting
* Previous experience in a school or primary school kitchen is a plus
