Customer Team Leader
Location: Concord Shopping Parade; Spout Lane Victoria Lane, Washington, NE37 2SU
Pay: £14.48 per hour
Contract: 20 hours per week (+ regular overtime), permanent, part‑time
Working pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid‑day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift. Availability is discussed during interview.
You must be aged 18+ to authorise age‑related sales.
Responsibilities
* Own the day‑to‑day running of the store and lead the team during your shift.
* Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
* Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
* Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
* Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth.
Qualifications
* Passion for people and leadership.
* The ability to work flexibly and lead by example.
* Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential).
