What you will do:
– Oversee practice development and perform line management functions.
– Supervise and support practitioners undertaking statutory social work and Youth Justice assessments.
– Coordinate complex multi-disciplinary plans for the welfare of young people.
– Develop close and constructive working relationships with a variety of professionals, ensuring effective partnership working to safeguard children.
– Prioritise workload to ensure timely access to services for children and families.
– Lead and manage a busy frontline children’s services team.
– Bring an understanding of trauma-informed practices and experience working with complex adolescents.
– Demonstrate a keen interest or knowledge in Youth Justice Services.
