Data Protection Coordinator - FTC
IVC Evidensia is a global veterinary group delivering outstanding care in around 2,500 locations. We are looking for a Data Protection Coordinator to support our Privacy and Data Protection team with prior data protection experience. This role is ideal for someone who is task-oriented, highly organized, and confident in handling complex data protection requests in a fast-paced environment with precision and professionalism.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Monitoring and triaging data protection queries via email and telephone
* Responding to incident issues, following multi-faceted processes and maintaining accurate records
* Managing Data Subject Rights requests and applying statutory exemptions and redactions; responding in a timely manner and liaising with internal stakeholders to gather necessary data
* Conducting data searches across the business and coordinating responses to inquiries
* Creating and maintaining accurate records of data protection incidents, issues and requests for UK brands and businesses, undertaking initial triage and analysis
What You’ll Bring
* High level of written accuracy and clear communication style
* High level of accuracy in recording detail within a defined framework
* Good communication skills and personable style
* Ability to question and perform basic risk assessment/root cause analysis
Desirable
* Data Protection certificate or qualification; OneTrust or other privacy software platform
* Experience in handling Data Subject Access Requests under UK or EU data protection law, including applying exemptions
* Experience in working with and applying legal principles and a good understanding of legislation
