We are seeking an Interim Health & Safety Lead (Standards, Engagement & Culture) WCR 5 Max to spearhead our organizational health and safety initiatives during a pivotal transition period. Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of health and safety standards across the organization.
* Foster engagement among employees regarding health and safety initiatives through training and awareness programs.
* Conduct regular health and safety audits and assessments to identify risks and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with department heads to create tailored health and safety strategies that align with organizational goals.
* Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to health and safety standards.
* Develop and disseminate health and safety communication materials to ensure clarity and understanding across all levels of the organization.
* Act as a key point of contact for health and safety issues and provide expert advice and support to employees and management.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry.
* Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
* Proven track record of developing, implementing, and managing health and safety programs.
* Strong understanding of current legislation and best practices in health and safety.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, conduct risk assessments, and develop actionable plans.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Day: £400.20
Location: Westminster, South West London
