Vehicle Damage Assessor Needed in Manchester
1. Location: Manchester
2. Working Hours: Core hours 06:00–16:00 (06:00–15:00 or 07:00–16:00 starts)
3. Salary: Basic salary circa £45,000 with OTE around £50,000 (upsell bonus)
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded Accident Repair Centre in Manchester, who are seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their workshop-based team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong practical estimating experience. Please note, this position is fully workshop-based with no remote working.
Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
4. Carry out detailed inspections of damaged vehicles within the workshop
5. Accurately assess damage, repair methods, costs, and timescales
6. Produce clear, detailed estimates using Audatex where required
7. Identify upsell opportunities in line with repair requirements
8. Liaise with technicians to ensure repair methods are clearly understood and achievable
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
9. Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator
10. Strong practical skills with a solid, hands-on approach to estimating
11. Audatex experience preferred
12. High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
13. Full UK driving licence required
