Wood Digital Consulting (DC) is recruiting an Automation and Controls Discipline Manager to support our EMEA Systems Integration business. This is a new position aligned with our growth plans.
The Discipline Manager will oversee a team of Discipline Team Leads and their reports to optimize the effectiveness of the Automation and Controls department, which is expected to comprise over 40 engineers.
Responsibilities include managing and developing discipline engineering resources, ensuring governance of practices and procedures, and acting as a subject matter expert to promote engineering excellence organization-wide.
The role requires leading by example, embodying the company's values, maintaining high standards of safety and ethics, and fostering an inclusive work environment.
This is a hybrid role, based anywhere in the UK, with travel to client sites and face-to-face meetings expected.
Applicants must pass the HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
Qualifications:
* Minimum ISCED Level 6 / Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
* Chartership or Professional Engineer License is advantageous
