A prestigious independent school near Guildford is looking for a proactive and skilled Groundskeeper to join their Estates team as soon as possible. This is a temporary role to start with, with the opportunity to apply for a permanent contract in the near future.
The role of Groundskeeper will involve:
* Maintaining and preparing high-quality sports pitches for Rugby, Football, and Cricket
* Caring for gardens and landscaped areas across both prep and senior school sites
* Supporting seasonal pitch changes and general ground upkeep
* Operating and maintaining grounds machinery
* Assisting with the supervision of grounds-related external contractors
We're looking for someone who:
* Has previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience
* Is enthusiastic about working outdoors in all weathers
* Holds a full UK driving licence (or is willing to obtain one)
* Can work independently with a positive, can-do attitude
* Communicates well and thrives as part of a team
