Project Coordinator Salary: £32,500 Location: East Yorkshire (on-site) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Contract: Permanent The Opportunity A well-established organisation in East Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Project Coordinator. This position plays a key role in ensuring fleet assets are refurbished, prepared and scoped correctly to meet project requirements, keeping a strong focus on quality, timescales and cost control. What You’ll Be Doing Working closely with the Operations team, you’ll support project preparation and refurbishment planning for upcoming requirements. This will include: Setting up project documentation and templates ready for scoping Producing detailed work scopes including labour hours and material requirements Creating detailed refurbishment plans aligned to drawings and customer-specific requirements Supporting review of resource allocations and project planning details Raising and placing subcontractor orders where required Supporting Sales by reviewing and advising on initial pricing documentation Supporting cost-saving initiatives and margin improvement activity Updating refurbishment scopes following strip-out inspections, ensuring hours and materials are accurate Supporting early-stage planning on material requirements for selected units Actively identifying opportunities to reuse materials where appropriate to reduce cost and improve margin Organising and coordinating internal project launch activity when required Ensuring assets are protected and weather-tight, escalating any concerns to the relevant teams Supporting budget control and project cost processes Coordinating second-hand refurbishment activity and liaising with teams regarding refurbishment suitability Escalating and supporting resolution of health and safety issues Attending uplift projects when required, completing condition and dilapidation-style survey reports What We’re Looking For You’ll be confident, structured, and comfortable working with numbers, plans, and multiple stakeholders. You’ll ideally have: Experience in a coordination role (projects, operations, refurbishment, planning, scheduling or similar) Strong communication skills and confidence liaising across teams A numerically strong and commercially aware mindset Good IT skills (Microsoft packages and confidence picking up internal systems) Strong planning and organisation skills Ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise tasks effectively What’s On Offer Salary of £32,500 Stable permanent role in a busy operational environment A varied coordination role with real project exposure Strong opportunity to develop into broader project/operations responsibilities over time
