Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Technician, Senior IT Technician, Field Engineer, or On-site Engineer. We require strong experience supporting schools, education environments, or other multi-site organisations. We need proven experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows platforms and applications. We require good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including user accounts, permissions, troubleshooting, and administration. We need experience with Active Directory, Azure / Microsoft Entra, and Intune. We require strong networking knowledge, including switches, wireless, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. We need experience supporting Windows Server environments. We require strong desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support skills. We need experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11. We require excellent communication and customer service skills. We need the ability to work independently across multiple sites. We require strong organisation and documentation skills. We require a full UK driving licence and access to a car. Responsibilities: We provide high-quality on-site IT support across four school sites, including two primary schools and two secondary schools. We manage incidents and service requests from receipt through to resolution and closure. We provide server, network, desktop, and cloud-based technical support. We diagnose and resolve technical issues, with a strong focus on first-time fix. We support Microsoft 365, Windows devices, networking, wireless, printing, and education-specific systems. We ensure service level agreement standards are met. We provide exceptional service to staff, students, and other stakeholders. We keep accurate records of all support activity and site information using IT service management tools. We complete administration, documentation, and technical records promptly and accurately. We promote best practice and adhere to change control processes. We support IT projects, upgrades, rollouts, and site improvements. We liaise with internal teams and third-party suppliers where required. We help ensure the IT environment remains secure, reliable, and fit for purpose. We transport IT equipment between school sites when required.
