In business for almost 30 years, this thriving company is entering an existing growth phase and is looking to enhance its already high-performing sales team by recruiting a talented Sales Account Manager to take the reins of a select portfolio of B2B accounts and deepen long-term partnerships.

* Salary: £27,000 plus monthly and quarterly commission

Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:

* Forge strong and lasting relationships with new and existing B2B customers to generate sales, increase growth, and ensure that profitability is maximised across every account

* Get under the skin of you accounts and their business, working together to understand their needs and deliver a solution that meets and exceeds their expectations

* Maintain regular contact with your accounts to promote the product range and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell

* Make outbound calls to new and lapsed clients to develop quality leads and identify new business opportunities

* Use exceptional negotiation skills to get deals over the line and achieve sales targets

* Generate sales orders, liaising with all areas of the business to ensure orders can be fulfilled in line with customer expectations

Sales Account Manager Skills and Experience:

* Solid sales experience, with hands-on experience gained as an Account Manager or Sales Manager

* Commercially savvy and confident in all areas of sales, from negotiating and upselling to cross-selling and closing sales

* Thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys watching accounts and profitability grow, able to consistently achieve KPIs and exceed goals

* A people-person with standout communication skills, able to build lasting relationships, build on trust and understanding

* Ambitious, results-driven with a can-do attitude and confidence, always looking to aim higher and deliver
