The Role
As a graduate engineer, your day‑to‑day tasks will vary as we expose you to all aspects of our work so you can discover what suits you best. You could be:
* Working on live projects from day one.
* In a variety of sectors from healthcare to hotels.
* Providing detailed, coordinated and cost‑efficient public health design advice to our varied client list.
* Producing designs for above‑ground and below‑ground drainage systems and hot and cold‑water services to standard, budget and deadline.
* Working across all projects and sectors – education, healthcare, retail, residential and commercial – to be constantly challenged and stimulated.
* Working alongside our Mechanical/Electrical teams and specialists such as Acoustics, Lighting, Sustainability, Utility Infrastructure or Fire Engineering.
* Using the latest computer modelling software CAD and Revit.
* Undertaking site surveys, researching ground‑breaking technologies and participating in continuous CPD.
* Attending meetings and visiting construction sites.
About You
* Expected or achieved 2.1 or above in an IMechE or CIBSE‑accredited degree (or equivalent) in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
* A master’s or other relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
* Previous placement or work experience in a similar industry is an advantage.
* Familiarity with CAD or similar modelling software is an advantage.
* Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
* A friendly, ambitious and confident individual with a flexible and resilient approach.
