General Counsel
St Martins Management Corporation Ltd, a successful Real Estate Developer and Asset Management company, is seeking a Legal PA. St Martins represents the Real Estate interests of the State of Kuwait, one of the world’s oldest sovereign wealth funds. Assets include some of London’s most iconic buildings with a global footprint. St Martins is headquartered in London Bridge.
Main Purpose
The position will play a vital role in supporting the General Counsel, working in the wider Corporate Services Team. The role will primarily support the General Counsel on all day-to-day aspects which include broad responsibilities in administration, diary management, preparation of reports and documents, filing, invoice management, working alongside the other PAs in the department.
It is essential that the person has acute attention to detail, is discrete and understand confidential information, is diligent in their work, articulate, and has a flexible approach to varied work. An interest in real estate is a plus. The position is for an accomplished and highly organised candidate.
Duties
* Typing and editing reports for approvals, ensuring correct spelling, grammar and formatting
* Dictation / Audio Typing
* Document engrossment and execution
* IT liaison
* Diary management
* Assisting with the preparation of board reports
* Tracking circulated reports for approvals and ensuring approvals are sent to relevant parties
* Electronic filing, photocopying, scanning, binding and shredding
* Tracking completed documents, e-filing and sending copies to internal Archivist. Cataloguing of documents in preparation for off-site scanning and maintaining internal archives
* Booking and setting up meeting rooms, greeting visitors
* Booking couriers
* Holiday and absence cover
* Any other secretarial duties, as required
Skills & Experience
* Secretarial or administrative qualification from a leading institute, such as Institute of Legal Secretaries, CILEX or equivalent.
* Experience in a corporate environment
* Excellent time management, highly organised, process driven and detailed-oriented.
* Able to work under pressure using own initiative, without supervision, to meet tight deadlines, both individually and as part of a team.
* Motivation and willingness to learn are key for this role.
