Are you a commercially minded Finance Business Partner who enjoys turning data into insight, challenge and action?
Markerstudy is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Group Finance team, sitting within the FP&A function. This is a great opportunity to support senior stakeholders with clear financial insight, accurate forecasting and meaningful analysis that helps drive business performance. You’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance tracking, while supporting wider finance initiatives and continuous improvement across the Group.
The role
As Finance Business Partner, you will support the delivery of budget targets across volumes and EBITDA, providing insight and challenge to help the business understand performance and make informed decisions.
Working as part of the FP&A team, you will help deliver consistent reporting, robust forecasting and high-quality analysis. You’ll also support the tracking of risks, opportunities and key initiatives, ensuring stakeholders have the financial information they need to take ownership of outcomes.
This role will suit someone who is naturally curious, analytical and confident partnering with stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of budget targets across volume, EBITDA and profitability.
* Provide high-quality FP&A insight to support planning, forecasting and decision-making.
* Own and improve consistent trading reporting and forecasting across Group Finance.
* Track risks and opportunities with accuracy, clarity and transparency.
* Support commercial strategy and pricing analysis to balance growth and profitability.
* Investigate performance issues and deliver impactful ad-hoc analysis.
* Support initiative delivery, providing financial tracking and helping stakeholders remain accountable for outcomes.
* Champion process simplification and continuous improvement, including the transition to Group Anaplan modelling and data.
* Support M&A activity, including due diligence and information requests.
* Build strong relationships across Group Finance, Atlanta and wider business teams.
* Play an active role in shaping a 'One Finance' culture built on teamwork, curiosity and shared success.
What We’re Looking For
* Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
* Strong FP&A, management reporting, analysis or finance business partnering experience.
* Advanced Excel capability, including modelling.
* Experience with Anaplan or similar planning/reporting tools would be highly beneficial.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn numbers into clear insight.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, curious mindset with an appetite for driving improvement.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving finance environment.
