Location: London - Hybrid working 3/2 split
Working closely with: Head of Revenue, Pricing and Credit Control, Revenue Team, wider Finance Department
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Pricing Analyst to support a growing law firm. This is an exciting new opportunity to make a real impact within a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting key decision-making at Partner level. You’ll gain exposure to strategic pricing work while building relationships across the firm.
This role will play a critical part in analysing client fee structures, discount strategies, and rate proposals, and in advising Partners on how to enhance profitability. The Pricing Analyst will work closely with the Pricing Manager, Head of Revenue, and wider finance and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse client rates, fee arrangements, and discount structures.
* Model pricing scenarios and provide data-driven recommendations to improve profitability.
* Prepare clear, actionable advice for Partners and senior stakeholders.
* Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies and policies.
* Collaborate with teams across Finance, BD, HR, and Marketing to ensure pricing aligns with broader business goals.
* Explain financial concepts to non-finance staff in a clear and confident manner.
* Manage multiple pricing projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
Required Skills/Experience
* Experience: Previous experience in a Pricing or Finance team, ideally within the legal or professional services sector.
* Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Aderant or Elite is highly desirable.
* Commercial Insight: Strong understanding of pricing mechanisms, fee calculations, and profitability levers.
* Stakeholder Influence: Ability to influence Partners and decision-makers, presenting and justifying pricing proposals with confidence.
* Technical Skills: Power BI knowledge is a plus
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
* Initiative: Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a willingness to bring new ideas to the table.
* Flexibility: Adaptable to changing priorities and able to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
* Analytical Capability: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data to support decision-making.
* Collaboration: Team player comfortable working cross-functionally across departments.
