Job overview
Adult Critical Care is seeking a motivated and conscientious Clinical Education Co-ordinator to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team caring for critically ill patients and their families.
The post holder will provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support to senior colleagues, ensuring smooth team operations. They must exercise initiative, organize their workload within deadlines, and support ward staff with monitoring quality, audit activities, data entry, and report generation using Microsoft Excel.
Additional responsibilities include assisting in workforce and education administration, supporting senior staff with workforce data, providing PA support to senior team members, and working flexibly across both the Queen's Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital sites.
Main duties of the job
1. Manage simulation equipment, including setup and post-use management for multi-professional education.
2. Ensure infection prevention practices related to simulation equipment, including cleaning and consumables management.
3. Notify pay services of staff leave and compile monthly absence figures.
4. Assist in electronic rostering to ensure adequate staffing and timely submissions.
5. Support data collection for ward productivity, patient feedback, audits, and surveys.
6. Manage education requests and maintain training databases.
