Your new role
As a temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk, you’ll play a key role in the Finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of sales invoices and debt collection. You’ll be responsible for maintaining customer accounts, reconciling the debtors ledger, and supporting internal teams to deliver a smooth and efficient receivables process.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Raising and processing sales invoices
2. Managing customer accounts and chasing outstanding payments
3. Reconciling the debtors ledger and resolving invoice queries
4. Maintaining accurate records in Sage and other systems
5. Producing aged debt reports and supporting monthly reconciliations
6. Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience
What you'll need to succeed:
7. Experience using Sage or similar accounting software
8. Previous experience in a finance or accounts receivable role
9. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
10. High attention to detail and accuracy
11. Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
12. Strong Excel and general MS Office skills
13. Excellentmunication skills and a proactive approach
14. Immediate availability is essential for this temporary role.
