Care Support Worker | Sevenoaks
Bank | £ per hour plus holiday pay
We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and dynamic Care Support Worker to join our Outpatient Department at our Sevenoaks Medical Centre.
As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting consultants and the nursing team in delivering excellent patient care in our dedicated outpatient Medical Centre. This role is ideally suited to Support Worker who has experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Assistant in a healthcare setting.
This is a bank role and therefore a zero hours contract working flexibly to cover absence and fluctuating clinic volumes between Monday and Friday 8am - 8pm
Main duties of the job
Role Responsibilities include:
1. Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions
2. Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight prior to clinic appointments.
3. Setting up equipment to use in the session/treatment
4. Supporting consultants and nurses with various procedures including ECG, Phlebotomy, Dressings and assisting with minor ops.
5. Chaperoning patients as required.
