Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer in London, United Kingdom (On-site)
PPM Engineer - Fire Detection – Pirin Court - Nights
Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the PPM Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of assets mainly in the Trackside environment. The role involves working on a permanent night shift from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. The engineer must work autonomously and prioritize safety. Travel between stations is required, so a full driver’s license is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
* Completing preventative maintenance tasks nightly
* Guiding daily task delivery in line with business expectations
* Working independently and as part of a team
* Maintaining health and safety standards
* Monitoring work compliance
* Using ServiceNow to update visit reports
Additional responsibilities:
* Providing accurate site reports
* Completing maintenance as scheduled
* Ensuring maintenance standards and reporting issues
* Handling administrative tasks promptly
* Adhering to QEHS and Drug & Alcohol policies
Qualifications / Skills:
* Understanding of system maintenance procedures related to the contract
* Experience with relevant systems
* Experience in the LUL or Rail environment
Candidate profile:
Seeking an engineer familiar with fire maintenance, preferably with London Underground or Network Rail experience. Must work nights (Sunday to Thursday, 10pm – 6am), have previous maintenance experience, and hold a full UK driving license. Drug & Alcohol testing is required.
