About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the medical device industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a degree in Biomedical Engineering to gain hands-on experience in the design and development of innovative medical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design and development of medical devices, from concept through to production.
* Work closely with engineering, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to ensure product feasibility and compliance.
* Support the creation of technical drawings, CAD models, and prototypes.
* Conduct design validation and verification activities, including testing and analysis.
* Assist in preparing technical documentation to support regulatory submissions.
* Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives in product development.
* Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in medical technology.
Requirements
* Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Medical Engineering).
* Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role).
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Passion for medical technology and a desire to make a difference in healthcare.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
