Your role and responsibilities
The Consultant Social Worker manages their own complex caseload and supports social care staff within the team.
Ideally, you will have experience of partnership working and collaborating with colleagues on complex issues. You will primarily work with 16 and 17-year-old care leavers, providing 1:1 support.
You will promote improvement, act as a role model for change, and demonstrate confidence, integrity, and adaptability. You must work to deadlines and motivate others effectively.
You will need
* A Social Work degree and current Social Work England registration
* Experience working with young people professionally
* An understanding of the issues affecting Care Leavers transitioning to independence
* Determination and creativity in engaging young people
