Job Description About the Team Our Leeds office is a friendly, collaborative team working across business rates, valuation, lease consultancy, agency and minerals & waste management. Graduates joining the team will gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects in Yorkshire, the North East and beyond, while benefiting from structured training, mentorship and exposure to high-profile clients. As part of Newmark’s wider UK and global network, the Leeds office offers graduates the chance to learn in a supportive environment, work on diverse projects, and develop alongside experienced specialists. Programme Overview Newmark’s 2-year graduate real estate programme is the perfect way to kickstart your career in commercial real estate. You’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplined teams, work with senior professionals, and develop the skills and competencies needed to achieve your MRICS qualification through the 2-year cognate APC route. Newmark also offer a 2.5. year graduate programme, designed for students to complete a RICS accredited MSc in Real Estate with University of the Built Environment (UBE). This route is perfect if your undergraduate degree is not RICS accredited, but you want to fast track your career in commercial real estate to achieve MRICS qualification. During the programme you will; Gain hands on experience across multiple real estate disciplines, including advisory, valuation, leasing and asset management Work on high profile client projects, helping to shape investment strategies and property decisions Develop professional competencies required for MRICS accreditation Receive mentorship and structured support from senior colleagues and our structured development programme Newmark sponsors your professional qualification to MRICS, enabling you to accelerate your career. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough research on market trends, property values, and economic indicators to support strategic decision-making. Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and proposals for clients, ensuring clear communication of insights and recommendations. Participate in site visits to assess property conditions, gather data, and contribute to due diligence processes. Collaborate with senior professionals on various projects, providing analytical support and contributing to project deliverables. Engage in continuous learning opportunities, including training sessions and mentorship, to support progression towards MRICS qualification. Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. This position also involves out of hours working on an ‘as necessary’ basis.
