What you will do:

An opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Assistants to join the Resilience In Stressful Events (R.I.S.E.) Team / Community Forensic Mental Health Team (CFMHT), North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that aims to meet the unique needs of individuals experiencing mental disorder, distress or issues of mental health and who are referred via Court Liaison, Justice Services and other statutory agencies in Ayrshire. This team works across North, South and East Ayrshire.

You will work to a strengths based, person-centred approach and be supported in their personal development via clinical, managerial and operational supervision. Training will be provided to successful candidates to support the delivery of interventions as directed by the multi-disciplinary team. This role will provide successful applicants with an opportunity to work with people and in their local community to develop and embed new skills to improve wellbeing.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

SVQ3 in Healthcare related subject and / or equivalent knowledge gained in a relevant area through experience, on the job training and/or short courses or appropriate competency to undertake role.

Can demonstrate a range of core skills to competently undertake patient care and other tasks and activities.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Hours:

37 hours per week - The post is full time working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

UK Driving Licence

Car licence is essential to this role.
