Closing Date for Application: Wednesday 14/05/2025 Manthorpe Building Products is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of plastic injection moulded, vacuum formed and extruded products for the building industry. The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Warehouse Team Leader, with the supervision of stock control, goods inward and good outward to ensure a high-quality service for our internal and external. Key Responsibilities: Maintain stock accuracy (including location) and replenish where requited. Ensure administration relating to goods in and goods out is completed in a timely manner. Conduct cycle counts in line with business requirements. Investigate stock discrepancies and solutions. Assist with day-to-day supervision of the team. Conduct weekly health and safety audits and racking inspections. Ensure staff are fully trained in all aspects of their duties including safe working practices Ensure compliance within the team and take responsibility for health & Safety issues Engage with strategic development and continuous improvements Ensure daily safety inspections are carried out (Forklift trucks, Housekeeping, Machinery etc) and inspections are placed on file. Make decisions and find solutions - analyse information, evaluate results to achieve the best solution. Assist in undertaking and reviewing Safe Systems of Work in accordance with the current regulations. Assist with the training of staff to a high standard and check that these standards are maintained, as required. Any other ad hoc duties required to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the warehouse function. Skills & Requirements: Risk assessment working practice and qualified to undertake Level 2 audits. Experience within factory and warehousing environment. Computer literate in MS office, Outlook, Excel and Word with good outlook diary management skills. IFS working knowledge. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Good attention to detail Excellent teamworking skills with the ability to work on own initiative and take decisive action. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders. A positive work ethic and enthusiastic approach to activities undertaken. Demonstrates the potential for problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, and is willing to engage in practical tasks and projects to further develop their skills.
