Salary/Funding: Once qualified, all teachers will have a starting salary of at least £31,650 (GBP). Tax-free training bursaries/scholarships may be available. The Opportunity
The School: Centred Initial Teacher Training in Barton under Needwood, part of a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), offers a dedicated training facility and works with over 60 local schools across East Staffordshire, South Derbyshire, and North Warwickshire to build trainees’ employability. As part of The Teaching School Hub, they provide ongoing professional development and a clear career pathway in education. They seek passionate, motivated individuals eager to grow and become the next generation of educators.
The School: Centred Initial Teacher Training offers exceptional training support. You will train in two different schools with weekly mentor meetings, gain experience in a special school or alternative provision, and work with different age groups. Training sessions at the Training Centre are led by subject and phase specialists and experienced local school representatives. Secondary trainees receive subject-specific training; primary trainees receive a diverse programme delivered by local school specialists. Collaboration with partner schools is central to the programme, aiming to recruit well-trained educators.

Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree (Required): final year students may apply.
* GCSE at Grade C/4 or equivalent in Maths, English (and Science for Primary applications).
