Oasys is the brand through which Arup sells its market-leading technical software, developed by the Product Engine team within the Digital Technology Group. Oasys software is used extensively within Arup and sold globally. The Oasys commercial team is responsible for marketing, sales, customer service, and support of these products.
We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join the Oasys Commercial Team, contributing to the team’s goal of selling our software products across structural, geotechnical, and pedestrian simulation software. This role offers an opportunity to join a successful and expanding sales & marketing team, supporting business development managers (BDMs) in achieving sales targets. Primary responsibilities include managing revenue-generating activities such as the annual payment and renewal process, filtering and distributing incoming and webinar leads, and conducting initial sales prospecting.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities include:
1. Business development and sales assistance, including weekly monitoring of lead generation activities and managing leads in our CRM system.
2. Distributing incoming leads from the Oasys inbox and organizing them appropriately.
3. Supporting BDMs with software subscription renewal reminders and quotation preparation.
4. Maintaining records of leads and inactive accounts within our CRM, ensuring regular communication via email and webinars.
5. Assisting BDMs with LinkedIn research and CRM account mapping for specific customers.
